Meet the Black Therapist & Company Team

Providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed mental health care, consultation, and education that centers the lived experiences of Black, Latino/a/x, Indigenous, and other communities of color in Oregon, Washington, Texas, and New York.

Cultural and Linguistic Specific Mental Health Services, Clinical Consultation / Supervision, and Educational Programs

The mission of Black Therapist & Company is to create equitable access to mental health, consultation/clinical supervision, and educational programs for all with unique expertise for Black, Latino/a/e, Indigenous and other people of color. This mission is achieved by having providers of similar lived experiences and ethnicity as the targeted population, who provide person-centered-anti-racist, culturally-specific, trauma-informed, decolonized care and services.

Our therapists support children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma including PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use disorder and life transitions. We also provide couples, marriage and family counseling, parenting support, and psychotherapy services to all while honoring the unique needs of Black, Indigenous and other people of color communities.

We are committed to serving diverse communities, including Black, Latina/o/x, Afro-Caribbean, and multilingual populations, with services available in languages such as Haitian-Creole, Spanish and Arabic.

Our physical office is located in Beaverton, Oregon. However, services are provided throughout the state of Oregon, Washington, Texas, and New York with use of HIPPA compliant technology.
