In November 2024, a federal rule change took effect which made people with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status eligible for Oregon Health Plan (OHP) Bridge and the Marketplace. A new federal rule called the Marketplace Program Integrity and Affordability Rule will reverse this change as of Aug. 25, 2025.
• The ONE system has stopped new approvals for OHP Bridge for people with DACA status. OHA does not yet know when this will affect current OHP Bridge members with DACA status. OHA will share more as soon as that information is known.
• For the Marketplace, new enrollments will stop Aug. 25, 2025. Current Marketplace members with DACA status will lose coverage Oct. 1, 2025.
